Young Dog - For young dogs who have had no formal training.

Pershore and Evesham Puppy School also offer an adult and young dog class for those dogs who have not had any formal training previously.  This class is ideal if you missed out on training your dog as a puppy or you have a young dog that hasn't had any formal training.

This class cover's essential skills to help you gain your dogs attention and focus which in turn helps build their self control .

​

This will enable you to then move onto cover various life skills, such as meeting & greeting people politely, door manner, recall and much more.

​

Course content will include, but is not limited to (we can/will adapt to the needs of the class and individual): -

• Recap of basic positions (sit, down & stand)

• Self Control & Focus exercises

• Wait/Stay

• Come when called/recall

• Loose lead walking

• Jumping up

• Tricks and Mental exercise games and much more...

The course lasts for 6 weeks comprising of weekly 1hr classes in small groups (max 4 dogs), all techniques used are reward based using kind and effective training methods.  The course costs £95 for the six week course and weekly notes are provided.  On completion of the course all dogs will receive a goody bag, graduation certificate and rosette.

* Please note all dogs must be comfortable around humans and other dogs to attend (i.e. no barking/lunging), if you are in any doubt please contact us to discuss, as it may be better to have a one to one session.
